Double Knitting
For this class, experience reading a pattern graph is helpful, as double knit patterns almost always use a graph. Help is available for those who haven't used a graph before.
You will need:
size US 7 or US 8, two straight needles or one circular needle.
two 50 or 100 gram balls of worsted yarn in different colors*
Crochet hook about the size of the knitting needle (I use a G)
*The two color yarns must have a lot of contrast. I do not recommend black or any other really dark yarn, such as navy or dark purple, as it is hard to see the stitches.
Since you will be using a graph, if you have a magnetic graph holder, bring it to class. Kathy has some in the shop to purchase.
Bring a lunch! You can buy a drink in the shop!
