Introduction to Free Form Tapestry Weaving
Students will learn how to warp a simple lalp loom, learn tapestry weaving techniques while weaving materials, while weaving a small wall hanging, and learn finishing techniques. Students will take home their project as well as PVC lap loom.
No experience necessary.
An assortment of weaving materials, warp yarn, PVC lap loom, tapestry beater, and needles will be provided in class. All materials will be provided by the instructor. Students may choose to bring additional materials to add to their woven piece.
An materials fee of $25 will be paid to the instructor on the day of class, so please remember to bring this fee on the day of class.
