I ran across this pattern for "Memory Blanket" by Georgie Nicolson on Ravelry awhile back and thought it was a great way to use up left over yarn. I chose to use all my fingering weight yarns, but you can use any weight as long as it is consistent throughout each blanket you make. After working on it, I ended up with a big mess and decided to organize it and keep it in a trunk to be displayed nicely in my family room, where I can work on it in-between other projects! Join me this Saturday for a free workshop and tips in knitting this wonderful blanket and enjoy the "memories" of using yarns from your past projects. So gather up your leftover yarn, the appropriate needle size, stitch marker, and the pattern from ravelry (free download) and join me this Saturday, the 11th of February at 11:00am!
